1. Present: Dr Tim Amos, Dr Seena Fazel, Professor John Gunn, Professor Harry Kennedy, Dr Louise Robinson, Professor Pamela Taylor and Dr Lindsay Thomson.

2. Minutes of last meeting 7/11/08 - approved
3. Committee Membership
The Committee approved the election of Dr Tim Amos as President from September 2009.
 
The Committee approved the election of Dr Seena Fazel as Treasurer from September 2009.
 
The Committee approved the appointment of Dr Louise Robinson as senior trainee representative.
 
The Committee noted that Professor Malcolm MacCulloch has now retired from FPRS.
4. Accounts
The accounts were formally placed before the meeting and approved. It was noted that Professor Digby Tantum had being paying his membership fees by Direct Debit on a monthly basis and that this had now been repaid to him.

5. Future Programme
Wednesday 29 April 2009 - Dr Tim Amos is hosting this meeting in Bristol. Tim should send Sheila the programme for circulation. Tim will arrange a visit around his MSU. Action: Tim Amos / Sheila McLennan
 
Set up London meeting for November 2009 ? suggestions to approach Professor Tom Fahy, Professor Tony Maden, Professor Nigel Eastman or another from the St George's group, or Dr Nigel Blackwood.

Spring 2010 ? suggestions for Leicester/Nottingham ? Professor Connor Duggan, Cardiff (Professor Pamela Taylor) or Sheffield (Professor Dibgy Tantum).
 
It was noted that Professor Digby Tantum had expressed interest in organising a meeting or session on autistic spectrum disorders. It was agreed that this should be added into the programme.
6. Promotion of Research Skills Workshop 2009
No further progress on this due to lack of a champion.

7. Royal College of Psychiatrists Website
LT has pulled together information for this and this will be completed.

8. Co-option of the Chair of FPRS onto the Forensic Faculty Committee
LT had written to Janet Parrot regarding this. No further information had been forthcoming.
(LT subsequently spoke to JP who had no knowledge of this and agreed LT to send letter again. LT and SMcL unable to find letter ? apologies.)
